What will it cost?

We are VAT registered.

There are no hidden charges, just two simple rates – Personal & Business that are sensible and affordable, with call out and the first hour for Personal Customers costing £80.00 Inc VAT (within a 10-mile radius of Crewkerne) then £30.00 Inc VAT per half hour after that and for Business Customers £80.00 +VAT and £30.00 +VAT respectively.

For drop off and pick up (by prior arrangement) labour is charged at £50.00 Inc VAT per hour for Personal Customers and £50.00 +VAT per hour for Business Customers.

Please note that our initial fault diagnosis and minimum charge for all customers is £33.33 +VAT.

For our online Remote Support, a minimum service charge of £30.00 Inc VAT for personal customers and £35.00 +VAT for business customers will apply to each session and will cover the first 30 minutes of support. The cost of a remote session will depend on how long we are actively working on your computer.

Full details of any hardware or software costs will be provided before any work commences.

Payment by card, cash, or cheque is due on completion or within 14 days of the invoice date.

ACS Terms and Conditions

  1. IMPORTANT – customers are responsible for backing up any valuable or business-critical data before the commencement of work OR bringing to our attention the requirement to do so and providing exact details of the relevant data. Allen Computer Services Ltd will not be held responsible for the loss of any data that we were not made aware of by the customer – on any media either fixed or portable.
  2. All repairs carry a thirty-day warranty on labour, should the same fault re-occur.
  3. All new parts have a full one-year warranty, if second-hand parts are used (due to non-availability of new parts or price constraints) you will be advised.
  4. All new parts are supplied by either the manufacturer or their agents.
  5. An invoice will be issued detailing the work carried out and the parts used.
  6. The most cost-effective resolution will ALWAYS be recommended.
  7. Customers will be informed before any work being carried out if it would be cheaper to replace than repair.
